Black's Beach Clean Up!
Nature Unplugged Community Hike / Event—April | Nature Unplugged Club hikes and events are a time to get together with old friends and make new ones. It’s a time to unplug from our devices, breathe in the fresh air and connect with the world around us. We’re committed to creating a community that values time outside, together—and that’s why we host these free, organized monthly hikes and events around San Diego.
While these hikes are offered at no cost, we do require registration. Your registration lets us know you're coming so that we can look for you at the trailhead. In advance of the hike, we'll also send you an email with helpful information including things like directions, parking tips, the weather outlook and what to bring.
Earth Day Beach Clean-Up!
Meet us at the Torrey Pines Gliderport parking lot and join us for a hike down to Black's Beach, picking up trash along the way!
ABOUT THE TRAIL
The Gliderport to Black's Beach trail is roughly 1 mile out and back. Though short, the way down and back is somewhat steep and generally considered moderately challenge. We'll continue along the beach, picking up trash as we go and carrying it back up to the parking lot where it can be disposed of properly. Gloves and trashbags will be provided. Also, there will be an option for a quick ocean dip so bring your bathing suit and towel if you’re interested.
